Conservation Tips Leaks and Fix-Its View Your Usage History

The prudent use of our valuable natural resource, water, should be in the forefront of our thoughts and actions. Working together to conserve is beneficial to our community and our environment.

Most people don't give water a second thought. When the faucet is on, the water flows. And when the faucet is off, the water sometimes continues to flow. Leaky faucets are just one way many households waste water each year. Malfunctioning toilets are another culprit, as are poorly aimed sprinkler systems that irrigate driveways and sidewalks. Wasting water can lead to higher bills for individual customers, but it can also strain water systems in times of drought. For those reasons, it is important to give water a second thought, and ensure it is being properly used.

Water allocations are being introduced by the Valencia Water Company under the new Water SMART program. Individually metered residential customers can now see their monthly allocations on billing statements.
