This page is maintained by Valencia Water Company (VWC) to provide our customers with up to date information about VWC’s proposed tariff changes that are pending approval by the California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC). As a utility regulated by the CPUC, VWC can only change its tariffs by CPUC approval of a formal filing. A filing is referred to as an “Advice Letter” or an Application. Below is a detailed listing of VWC’s pending filings before the CPUC with an explanation of which tariffs may be modified by the filing.

On June 8, 2011, the Company filed Advice Letter No. 137 with the California Public Utilities Commission requesting approval to update its tariffs to request authority to allow Valencia to accept credit and debit cards as bill payment options, and charge customers a convenience fee which is paid directly by the customer to the third party bill payment provider. If the request is approved by the Commission, the Company will update its Rendering and Payment of Bills, Rule No. 9, in addition to its Table of Contents. On January 20, 2012, the Company filed Advice Letter No. 141 with the California Public Utilities Commission requesting approval to implement new tariffs related to its WaterSMART program for dedicated irrigation meters. If the request is approved by the Commission, the Company will implement Schedule 1-DIM Dedicated Irrigation Metered Service, Schedule 1-DIM-MS Dedicated Irrigation Mixed Sources Metered Service, and DIM-VAR, Dedicated Irrigation Meter Variance Explanation and Process.
