 The 10th annual SCV Relay for Life is scheduled for May 31 - June 1st at Santa Clarita's Central Park. Valencia Water Company and Newhall Land, the Newhall Islanders team, are working together to raise money for the American Cancer Society.
As part of our fundraising efforts, we are holding a silent auction for this lithograph of a Pablo Picasso painting, donated by Valencia Water associate Robyn Zakar. The lithograph is a limited edition, re-creation by Marina Picasso of an oil painting on canvas entitled "Visage sur fond rouge" by Pablo Picasso, created in 1914. It is embossed with a limited edition seal from the estate of Pablo Picasso at lower right and with the printer’s seal at lower left. Inscribed Collection Marina Picasso by Marina Picasso and numbered 99 in a limited edition of 500.
The appraised value of the lithograph is $3,400, plus a framing value of $800. The opening bid for the silent auction is $500. The lithograph is on display at the offices of Newhall Land.
